Life is a series of relationships with imperfect people. God created us to be in relationships. Joy is found in relationships--be it husband/wife or parent/child. Or friend/friend. Or even employer/employee; shepherd/sheep. Not alone. But we are ALL imperfect and fall short of His Glory. Be free--stop trying to be perfect according to religion! Just be--and you are--perfect in Christ.
